Bjango: Interaction density #

I hate to have two posts in a row linking to Bjango, but I sadly don't update my blog often enough and Marc Edwards continues to bring thought and insight that's well worth sharing.

App Icon templates from Bjango #

Marc Edwards continues to make great tools for the design community. From preview tools, writing on design, photoshop actions to an upcoming design application he has been a mainstay in the interactive design world. A resource that I find myself continually referencing. Now, Marc has come out with some really great icon templates.

There has been some imprecise tools here and there, but nothing that one could continually rely on to have the correct and latest sizes. I hope this set Marc has just released will fill this need.

Arriving at San Francisco #

I always enjoy reading breakdowns of typography. Seeing what works with a typeface, what doesn't work and the reasoning behind certain decisions is eye opening. There's a lot of smart details with the San Francisco typeface, that I think many don't notice.

HOLORAMA: An Optical Theatre #

"Inspired by the great tradition of optical theatres, Holorama brings several iconic scenes from the history of cinema back to life. From Twin Peaks to Apocalypse Now, from E.T. to The Big Lebowski via Jason and the Argonauts, Holorama gives these famous scenes a third dimension using a simple holographic process based on a semi-transparent screen, mixing the image of an extremely faithfully built model with the characters extracted from the original scene."
